I’m deeply grateful for everyone who has purchased, read, and taken the time to review my book. In the name of tolerance, a special thank you also to everyone who has spread the word to help promote this book. An almost unbelievable yet so true accounting of a horrible time in history
This was a terrific read. Although a tragic story, it was very captivating. A must read for anyone interested in history, and real life tragedy.
Well written. Excellent characters

About The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap
The year 1895 was filled with memorable historical events: the Dreyfus Affair divided France; Booker T. Washington gave his Atlanta address; Richard Olney, United States Secretary of State, expanded the effects of the Monroe Doctrine in settling a boundary dispute between the United Kingdom and Venezuela; and Oscar Wilde was tried and convicted for "gross indecency" under Britian's recently passed law that made sex between males a criminal offense. When the news of Wilde's conviction went out over telegraphs worldwide, it threw a small Nevada town into chaos. This is the story of what happened when the lives of its citizens were impacted by the news of Oscar Wildes' imprisonment. It is chronicle of hatred and prejudice with all its unintended and devastating consequences, and how love and friendship bring strength and healing.

Thank you so much Lou. It’s definitely a feel good experience to help so many dogs. ❤
Okay, P, this is now getting too much to believe! I hope that there is so much health and happiness in your household during this holiday season that is gushes out into your surrounding neighborhoods! 😉 🙂 ❤
That’s the nicest hope/wish– that we have health and happiness gushing all around. We’re certainly doing a lot of happy dances these days with all the dogs freed. And right back to you, Phil, and your fur baby. 🙂 🙂 ❤
Bella and Choppy seem to have a favorite place in common (of course, as far as Choppy is concerned, I have no idea she loves the couch because I never catch her on it – that could well be her favorite spot!).
I think you’re on to something with Choppy liking the couch as well, as witnessed in all those videos. But shhhhhh, don’t give her away. So funny how food-attention focused they can be. Choppy reminds me of Bella, some of the expressions and antics. Three-paw Max is an avowed couch potato and also loves his dogloo when he’s outside.
MeOwwwwww Max and Bella, ya’ll be absolutely gawjus. We’re so happy to furinally put da woofy to da name. Ya’ll are just as purrfect as we had ‘magined. We’re so glad ya’ll got gotted. They can sniff ya’ll getting ‘catcited ’bout them and that got them wagging. 250 would be incredible. Got all our fingers and paws crossed we continue to help free a whole lot more. Your encouragement and catcitement is very inspirational. Luv ya right back ❤
