Terrific.
Yes!
awesome.
Yes! Lot of happy families. 🙂
sigh, a sigh of relief…
Oh boy, that say it.
What happy endings.
Yisraela
Yes, isn’t that wonderful!
I’m just blown away – so many finding homes and love, and I don’t just mean the animals, because of your passion. What a great blessing you are.
xoxox
I’m with you on being blown away but my part here is small compared to the good folk working at the shelter, bringing the dogs and cats out for adoption events, and so many others who help. I’m a tiny piece of the pie who loves to share the happy smiling wagging faces and am truly thrilled and feel blessed that I’m flowing them some money to help out. Occasionally we get directly involved with rescuing but we’re approaching that age that makes it prohibitive and so we do what we can. Big hugs. xoxo
Oh, what joy on those faces! 😛
(I like your new colours)
The shelter has been doing a great job of putting themselves out there to get adoptions done. It’s so wonderful to see the action.
Something happened that I couldn’t read the print and tried to change the background colors so switched it to this. I like it also. Softer on my already straining eyes, lol. 🙂
They certainly are doing a great job! 🙂
🙂
Another happy post P 😉
Yes!!! 🙂
I hope that all the innocent in the world will find a home, kindness, loyalty, respect, food & water & care, and love forever.
This is a wonderful video. Do you know Eldad Hagar?
This is Gaia’s history, a brave mother, a great mother. This is a story that moves, but which gives hope 🙂
Love you, sister.
Eli
P.S. your book has arrived!
Wiping the tears as I type. Thank you so much for posting this heart-wrenching heartwarming video. It’s people like this man who give me hope, not just about rescuing dogs but so many things. It’s the good hearts like this… This is a wonderful, beautiful, story and boy those puppies are so darn cute. My husband & I have been involved in manly rottweiler rescue for the last 28 years. We’ve been involved in scenarios like this, some day I’ll write about one of them with a severely abused group of rottie puppies (happy ending also), and I can’t tell you what it is to look in the face of a grateful dog (or any other animal, quadra or biped).
I love that you shared this. Please feel free to come back any time with any more like this or alert me if you post any like this at your site.
Love, Paulette
ps. hope you enjoy the book. We sent another check to SPARC (Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center) yesterday from book sales last month. You helped a wagging tail. 🙂
Paulette, sister,
might there be something more pure, something more beautiful and kind of the look of an animal? I don’t believe.
On my wall I put an image (have you seen it?)
There are empty cages. Inside the cages there are lighted candles.
A WordPress friend wrote me that that picture is very beautiful.
I replied to her in this way (I hope I can correctly translate!):
“Dear Sweets,
I prefer to put in the cages lighted candles and I prefer to lock up the dreams never dreamed, the beautiful love affairs never lived, the beloved animals never born, the stones that don’t sleep, nor wake up into a dawn that make blinds the Heart…
I prefer to lock up the cages what has not been and what is not and never will be.
The suffering. Only this infamous I would like put in chains and lock up in the cages.
I have always believed that it could be true and not just a “project” making free the others from suffering, even before making free ourselves…
do something; a favor, offer the hand, the shoulder, a glass/a bowl of water…
break the barbed wire which makes captives people worldwide … captives animals worldwide … breaking it using steel tongs, with the determination wishing that everything in which we believe-that, in the end we ourselves the mirror-is not just a dream, or an idea, but something that is real.”
A warm affectionate hug.
Your sister Eli, so far only in the distance, not in the Heart.
That is beautiful, Eli. The words and the heart behind them. Thank you so much for sharing here.
Crying…
Is that an incredibly loving story or what? I love that guy… LOVE HIM!!! He was out there for so many hours. God Bless him and everyone like that, who helps others, bi or quadaped.
So loving and wonderful (like you)! 😛
Kiss U sis Gita ❤
Dear sister,
I forgot something important!
Do you know what is BSL?
Terrible, uncivilized, cruel. It happens in 2013!
Look at this please:

I read the link you sent and am not in favor of it at all. Thanks for this.

Signed! Thank you for caring. 🙂
Love, sis Paulette ❤
Fantastic news!
Yes! They’re really doing well with moving adoptions along and getting lots of furry kids into forever homes. Just hope it all continues to work out. 🙂
It’s lovely to see so many happy faces! That’s brought a smile to my face.
Us too, Clowie. Max & Bella are wagging themselves silly. 🙂
How wonderful !makes me happy
Yes, it definitely is a happy occasion, bringing furry kids with their forever families. 🙂
How wonderfully encouraging, and heart-warming. So much love and hope in these pictures! Love it!
Yes, I love these photos. Food for the heart, love & hope. 🙂
Wagging Tails&Cheers! 😀
Sweet dreams, sister ❤
🙂 Hoping for many many more happy wagging tails.
Yes!! I hope too 😀
Oh, SweetHeart! BSL is horrible! I have fought a lot for Lennox and the others were rescued. The night before Len execution I’ve never slept on, always on line to write, send and email, even to Pope! Nothing. Lennox was killed.
I’ll remember his sweet gaze forever, and even now thinking about it, I can not stop crying.
I agree with you, sister, but the fact is that humans ruin the good character of the dogs, not the other way!
Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry to read about Lennox and I’m with you 100% on that. I am NOT in favor of the aspect of BSL that “bans” breeds. But there’s another component to the law, “restrictions” that can call for spay and neuter of certain breeds, etc. have a leash of a certain length, have certain liability insurance, etc. That’s what I was referring to. My humble apologies for the misunderstood. And, we’re on the same page about people and dogs, for sure.
Why apologies sister? I understand what you mean! Who’s in command, is quick to do all black or white, I know.
Who’s in charge should take into account the nuances; little restrictions, of course! And do not give large breeds to criminals people, all dogs are not born bad ever, but they can become it.
An affectionate hug. No more excuses, okay? Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee
It is not easy for me to write in English 😦 Io temo che tu possa fraintendere! Non scusarti, sorella, per favore…
Un bacio a te, ai tuoi beloved, all…
You’re great ❤
No worries friend. I don’t understand the words but the sentiments are lovely and that’s what’s important. 🙂
Yes!!!!!! 🙂 you write very well in English!!
No, what are you saying? Ahahahah! I am a true landslip 😀 😀 😀
But our Hearts beat as one!
I’m so far, but not from your Heart ❤
This is really lovely. I loved every single photo – & of course the tale.
I love them all also but the one with big boy Duke being held like a puppy with his new dad sending me over the smiling ledge. 🙂
