AND please for everyone who’s purchased a book could I humbly ask you to write a review when you’ve completed the read. Amazon promotes and ranks books according to number of reviews in addition to sales. Every voice helps spread the word and that is an energy that can help a dog.

REVIEWS FOR THE SEVEN YEAR DRESS

I truely loved this book! Felt like a true story instead of a Novel. Great writing
AMAZON U.K.
I cried, I smiled and finally I found understanding.
This book takes you on a journey that is horrific and incredible. I couldn’t stop reading.
GOODREADS:

Superb book that leaves you thinking about the characters for long after you’ve finished.
I picked it up on the recommendation of an old schoolfriend. Initially I wasn’t sure where it was going, but once it began to tell the story of Helen Stein, her family and her next-door neighbour, Max, I was transfixed.
A must-read. Its simplicity belies its message and allows the horrors of the Holocaust to be brought to the fore.
5*.
AMAZON RANKING
My books continue to be ranked in the top 100 best sellers on Amazon in their categories (historical fiction, teen and young adult, and literary fiction). What an honor to be ranked #87 LITERARY FICTION BEST SELLER next to Paulo Coelho; incredible author of The Alchemist and The Pilgrimage.

About The Persecution of Mildred Dunlap
The year 1895 was filled with memorable historical events: the Dreyfus Affair divided France; Booker T. Washington gave his Atlanta address; Richard Olney, United States Secretary of State, expanded the effects of the Monroe Doctrine in settling a boundary dispute between the United Kingdom and Venezuela; and Oscar Wilde was tried and convicted for "gross indecency" under Britian's recently passed law that made sex between males a criminal offense. When the news of Wilde's conviction went out over telegraphs worldwide, it threw a small Nevada town into chaos. This is the story of what happened when the lives of its citizens were impacted by the news of Oscar Wildes' imprisonment. It is chronicle of hatred and prejudice with all its unintended and devastating consequences, and how love and friendship bring strength and healing.
Paulette Mahurin, the author, is a Nurse Practitioner who lives in Ojai, California with her husband Terry and their two dogs--- Max and Bella. Great on the reviews but that’s excellent on 14 dogs to start the year off.
❤
Good way to begin 2017, as in getting an early start…!
Thanks, JJ. I was concerned that a lot of the dog rescue people may have been tapped out with all the last minute rescues in 2016 but the flow has continued to move and for that I am truly grateful. So are the dogs. I hope it continues.
I always send positive energy out to the rescues… the resilience and love they provide is nothing short of amazing. And so is your work and contribution, Paulette. Thank you so much for all you do. 🙂
Thank you! It is something I get great satisfaction out of, helping rescue one dog, let along as many as I’ve been involved in. But the real heroes are the ones that go to the shelters and ensure they dogs land in good homes. Those are the real angels. I just feel lucky to do my small part but oh what a big warmth it gives my heart. I know you must know that feeling with all the loving, good you do. ❤
So thankful for all the work you do for the dogs. Thanks a lot lovely Paulette.
Thanks so much, Lou. I’m happy I’m able to do the small part that I do. There’s a lot of reward in helping a dog. ❤
Gosh darn cute adoptees.
Congratulations on your epic reviews. ❤
They sure are cute and oh so happy. Nothing like a wagging dog. ❤

Pingback: A book to keep you awake until you finish – Defining Ways
It’s a thrill to come here and see what has happened in just another week, dear Paulette. Fantastic! Poor doggie that has been attacked by the coyote, but good to hear that he is okay now. Double Pawkisses for a Happy Monday 🙂 ❤
Yes that little Wolfie was sure lucky that he was rescued and is being taken really good care of. He certainly is a lucky one to be helped medically and have his life saved. I’m sure he’ll repay it a million times over with licks and wags. I was so happy to see the movement to rescue these dogs. There are just so many big-hearted people out there helping with this effort–all around the world. For dogs, cats (like you sweetie), horses, etc. Bless them all! Triple pawkisses back to you for a great week. 🙂 ❤
They are all so cute! Taco really looks comfortable!
I just love that sleeping photo of Taco. Precious baby does look very comfortable. They are all cuties. So happy to share with you my friend. ❤
